What is your 3D design workflow?

When a client comes to us needing or requesting a design, below is an outline of the steps taken to fully execute a 3D design.

Step 1: We receive your email, call, or filled out website form. We contact you to set up an onsite assessment with our sales rep. Depending on the time of the year, you can anticipate having a sales rep come on site ranging to next day for up to 1.5 weeks.

Step 2: One of our sales reps comes out to your property to meet with you. During this onsite meeting, we get a better understanding of how our team can assist. We ask a lot of questions, share ideas and solutions, along with taking photos and measurements. Depending on the type of service(s) being disused, site assessments usually take anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour (+/-). For site assessments, we do require all homeowners to be present for the meeting to walkthrough the job with our sales rep. Ideally, if you have a survey of the property, this would be great to share with the sales rep on site

Step 3: When the site assessment is fully completed, we send out a design service agreement to approve in order to move forward with the design. The proposal in inclusive of the scope of work to be designed, payment schedule, along with concepts from other designs we have done in the past.

Step 4: After the design service agreement has been reviewed, signed, and paid for, we will begin the design process. The design process can range from 1.5-3 weeks depending on the size of the project and time of the year. A check-in call may be held to make sure we are headed in the right direction with the design concept before finalizing and presenting it to you.

Step 5: Once the design is fully complete, we have an onsite design presentation meeting to share the design with you, walk the property, and address any protentional changes requested. We do offer a design presentation meeting over a video call, but would prefer to have it in person. During this meeting, a ballpark price is shared with the client to set a range of what the project investment could be. When the meeting has concluded, we share a link with the client of the design photos to keep

Step 6: If any changes or revisions need to be made, this is done in this step

Step 7: Once there is an approved design, then we will work together a formal proposal for the entirety of the scope of work designed

Step 8: If needed or requested, the sales rep can go to vendors with the client to see, touch, and feel different material options. Also, we can provide samples and bring them to our cleints home to see the different materials options available

Step 9: After there is an approved and deposited proposal for the design, if needed, permits are prepared and filed to the town. At this stage, depending on the specific elements a project entails, there may need to be an engineer and/or architect involved to prepare construction drawings to submit to the town as well.

Step 10 Once the project is approved by the town, we are ready to get you on schedule to execute your job!
